Marrakesh with tweens and teens -- help?

We are going to Marrakesh for 4 nights in March 2010 and we can not wait. It is part of a longer itinerary, but I am having troubles with the Morocco planning -- especially since we are needing to find activities for the kids. DH and I are in our 40's and are traveling with another family with four children ages 11,12, 14 and 15 between us. I have several questions:

1. As of today, we are booked at the lovely Riad Noir d'Ivoire, in the medina, for 3 nights. Unfortunately, it is not available for our fourth night in Marrakesh. That leaves one night of our trip to spend elsewhere in Morocco. Should we opt for a night in the Atlas Mountains or should we stay at a resort for the final night outside of Marrakesh?

2. Are the quad biking tours interesting and safe for tweens?

3. Are there any camel rides near Marrakesh?

Thank you so much for your help!

Erg Chebbi? in a night? well, the Atlas mountains sound good, either Kasbah du toubkal, Kasbah Bab Ourika or la Roseraie. If you can afford some top end luxury then Kasbah Tamadot(Richard Branson's).
Quad biking is going to be absolute fun for kids, it is deffinitely safe, there is a monitor watching the bikers all the time.
Camel trekking is possible at the same location where you can arrange quad biking ( Kasbah le Mirage )

A few years ago another Fodorite jgg did a great report about her trip to Marrakech with her 'tweens'.
