Try reposting this under the Egypt thread (rather than the general, whole of Africa) by selecting Egypt from the box to the right of Search This Forum topic box at the top of the page, then hitting the orange Search button. You still may not get any answers which means that folks reading your question have not used them or don't know anyone who has. You used a good, specific, heading; anyone who knows anything about them would look at your question and answer it.

evecolorado, thanks for your good advice. I've posted this question on other boards and I'm getting no feedback at all on Egypt Uncovered so at this point I'm probably going to nix the idea. However I have heard some good things about Imaginitive Traveller, so I've just about decided on that.
