Islands of Adventure

The rambling emporium inside the entrance/exit of IOA is the largest store in the park. It's filled with a little something of everything from everywhere, even some items from the attractions of Universal Studios. Here you'll find Kong, Spider-Man, superheroes, and puh-lenty of Potter themes plastered on sandals, frames, mugs, cups, caps, and clothing. It's perhaps the park's best one-stop shopping experience.

Jack Daniel's General Store

If you can't make it down to Lynchburg to see the Jack Daniel's distillery in person, visit the famed whiskey maker's Nashville outpost for all your Jack Daniel's–branded gear needs. From the outside in, this shop is oh-so-charming, with an old-fashioned sign and sandwich board welcoming shoppers and passersby. It specializes in decoupage-adorned items like quirky trays and paperweights. Owner Carol Kaas, who uses antique prints, vintage postcards, historical maps, and ephemera in her work, also custom-decoupages trays using wedding invitations, photos, baby announcements, or other paper keepsakes.

Kong Lung Trading

Sometimes called the Gump's of Kauai, this store sells elegant clothing, glassware, books, gifts, and artwork—all very lovely and expensive. The shop is housed in a beautiful 1892 stone building in the heart of Kilauea. It's the showpiece of the pretty little Kong Lung Center, where everything from handmade soaps to hammocks can be found. A great bakery and pizza joint (Kilauea Bakery & Pizzeria) rounds out the center's offerings, along with an exhibit of historical photos.

One of four locations in Nashville, this little shop is absolutely packed with potential presents for the folks back home: candles, puzzles, jewelry, food products, and more from a number of Nashville and/or Tennessee enterprises. Thistle Farms, an organization dedicated to helping women survivors of abuse and addiction, is well represented here, as is Loveless Cafe, Bongo Java coffee, and Sweet Tea Candle Company.
