Named after the patron saint of bakers and pastry chefs, this South Austin pizza parlor is indeed heavenly. And the divine selections extend much farther than pies like the signature St. Philip, topped with clams, ricotta, and bacon jam. Housemade selections include meatballs (served in a parmesan brodo or gravy), crispy golden cauliflower, and ricotta dumplings. The outdoor patio is the perfect place to enjoy their weekend brunch, with dishes like fried chicken and churros (with maple syrup and sour cream dipping sauces), s’mores waffles, and daily quiche specials. The bakery opens early, offering delicious breads, pastries, and classic desserts, from chess pie and butterscotch blondies to homemade Twix bars and chocolate pop tarts.
