Top Chef alumnus Dale Talde throws bold flavors into Asian-American comfort foods at this casual restaurant where seating at the chef's counter and antique mahogany carvings add touches of showbiz. Favorite dishes include Korean fried chicken with a kimchi-yogurt sauce cooled by sliced grapes, fried oyster and bacon pad Thai, and pretzel pork and chive dumplings. Orders arrive hot at the table as soon as they're ready. In hot months the dessert is Filipino halo-halo: shaved ice with sweetened condensed milk, coconut, Cap'n Crunch, and more.
