In a former newspaper building, this boutique hotel is part of Marriott's Autograph Collection; the hotel feels both broadly cosmopolitan and distinctly Maine. Many of the furnishings were created by Maine artisans like Thos. Moser, and the sophisticated art gallery on the bottom floor features the work of contemporary Maine artists. Meals are not included but the restaurant Union, and Inkwell coffee bar, are on-site.
