Georgia Writers Museum
Part of the Southern Literary Trail, this small museum in downtown Eatonton features exhibits on four authors who called Central Georgia home: Joel Chandler Harris, Sidney Lanier, Flannery O’Connor, and Alice Walker. They also display items from the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame in partnership with the University of Georgia’s Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library.
