Fodor's Expert Review Hotel Clermont

789 Ponce de Leon Ave., Atlanta, Georgia, 30306, USA Fodor's Choice

There’s no better stay within walking distance of Ponce City Market and the BeltLine, and for cool factor combined with the conveniences of a modern hotel with vintage touches, there may be no better stay in Atlanta. Lush foliage and wicker and rattan seating welcome you in the lobby, as does an ice-cold PBR in honor of legendary stripper Blondie, whom you may be lucky enough to catch at the downstairs lounge. Rooms are furnished with an eye toward art deco, from the velvet headboards and seating to “Jetson”-style desk lights, but less Miami bright and more Southern sophistication. The building itself is historic, but with spacious rooms, foolproof complimentary Wi-Fi, and freshly made kombucha in the cafe, the experience is far from 1924 when the building was first erected.
