Opened in 1925, this wonderful restaurant in the posh Renaissance Vinoy Resort has frescoed ceilings and a spectacular view of Tampa Bay. Upscale and special-occasion diners are drawn to Marchand's dynamic menu, which changes often and embraces a farm-to-table approach. You'll always see salmon and a multitude of other seafood options on the menu amid items like wild boar ribs and farm-fresh vegetable potpie (which, again, alternate often). There are also gluten-free and veggie options—just ask. For early birds, the 1925 menu (named for the year the hotel originally opened) offers a three-course meal for just—as you may have guessed—$19.25. Sushi is available Wednesday through Saturday. The wine list is extensive, including a number of by-the-glass selections.
