Housed inside the Mission Gathering church, which still hosts service on Sunday, the Irenic backs up its sacred atmosphere with immaculate sound. The card tables in the back selling canned beers may give the venue a humble, D.I.Y. feel, but these hallowed walls play host to top-notch touring musical acts and performing artists. Can we have a Hallelujah?
