Fodor's Review

Named for a form of Mexican wrestling, this taco shop with its hot-pink walls and shiny booths was famous mostly for its lack of parking until it appeared on the Travel Channel’s “Man v. Food.” Then long lines of burrito-crazed fans began forming outside the walk-up window for lunch. The Surfin' California burrito packed with grilled steak, shrimp, french fries, avocado, and chipotle sauce is a favorite. So are the nachos smothered in cheese and guacamole. There are also many meatless options. The blink-and-you'll-miss-it breakfast hour, 10–11 daily, promises a huevos rancheros burrito and bacon-wrapped hot dog among other items. Their North Park outpost is more spacious. Don’t park in the gas station next door; they watch and will tow.
