Raven Cafe

Downtown Fodor's choice

A contemporary and attractive coffeehouse and bar, Raven Cafe serves excellent organically grown food from morning to night and hosts live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as some Thursday and Sunday evenings.

Annex Cocktail Lounge

The hip crowd here tends to be postcollege and more affluent; the cocktails are creative, the food is great, and there's often live music on the wraparound patio.

Collins Irish Pub & Grill

DJs spin high-energy tunes as a mostly college-age crowd takes to the dance floor Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 10 pm until close.

Grand Canyon Wine Co.

This cozy wine bar on Route 66 pours Arizona wines by the glass or as part of a flight. You can also purchase a bottle to share with friends or sample tapped beers made by neighboring Historic Brewing Company. Even though the bar doesn't have its own kitchen, it does have a menu featuring pizzas and Caesar salad from its sister restaurant, Station 66, next door.

Jersey Lilly Saloon

Downtown

Located above the Palace, the Jersey Lilly Saloon is a former brothel with live entertainment every day but Monday, a great patio, and a dance floor.

LazyG Brewhouse

This lively place serves up tasty pub fare and plenty of beer, with twenty-four of their own brews on tap, plus a few options from other breweries. Live music provides a festive backdrop to cornhole games on the family- and pet-friendly patio most weekends.

Matt's Saloon

Downtown

For live country-and-western music and two-stepping on the dance floor, mosey on over to Matt's Saloon.

Museum Club Roadhouse and Danceclub

Downtown

Fondly known as the Zoo, this Flagstaff institution once housed an extensive taxidermy collection in the 1930s and is now a popular country-and-western club (a few owls still perch above the dance floor). A gigantic log cabin constructed around five trees, with a huge, wishbone-shape pine as the entryway, the venue offers a taste of Route 66 color along with live music and other events.

The two pool tables and old wooden bar at Paul & Jerry's Saloon attract a regular crowd (relatively speaking).

Sound Bites Grill

Uptown

This casual restaurant and bar offers live music, mostly jazz, on Wednesday through Sunday nights. It also has reasonably priced appetizers and cocktails and excellent views of the sun setting over the red rocks if you're lucky enough to grab a table on the outside deck.

Spirit Room

On weekends, there's live music and a lively scene at the Spirit Room. The mural over the bar harks back to the days when it was a dining spot for the prostitutes of the red-light district.

Weatherford Hotel

You'll find three bars here: Charly's Pub & Grill hosts late-night jazz and blues bands, while, in the basement, the Gopher Hole has a game room and brings a mix of styles to its stage. The third, the Zane Grey Ballroom upstairs, affords a great view of the city you can enjoy with your drink. Good food and historical charm enhance the experience.

Relics Restaurant & Lounge at Rainbow's End

West

The closest thing to a rollicking cowboy bar in Sedona is Relics Restaurant & Lounge at Rainbow's End, a steak house with a wooden dance floor and live rock or country-and-western music most nights.
