Fodor's Review

The self-proclaimed "un coin perdu de Paris" (a lost corner of Paris) is famous for its wraparound patio, Parisian vibe, and 100-year-old corner building. It's hard to know which architectural detail to admire first—the art deco chandelier, the art nouveau bar imported from Argentina, the "gilded" tables, the copper vats, the stained glass, or the woodwork. It's fun to watch for local television stars while you nibble a homemade croissant and nurse a large bowl of café au lait. Although this is a full bistro serving three meals every day of the week, it shines brightest in the morning, when you can order the Special Bonjour croissant with ham and cheese, or other hearty sandwiches. Evenings feature unique daily cocktails. Early birds and night owls are equally served since La Croissanterie opens at 7 am and closes at 1 am every day of the week.
