Named for the whales (ballenas, in Spanish) that seasonally migrate here, this park protects marine life in miles of ocean, as well as 10 km (6 miles) of coastline, incorporating four separate beaches, each with its own character. Opportunities abound for fishing, whale- and dolphin-watching tours, kayaking, camping, beachcombing, and swimming. Sunsets here are unbeatable.
