Green Market
Conversation and currency are king at Kotor's daily market, located just outside the main entrance of the city walls (on the main coastal road). It's filled with colorful, local, seasonal produce laid out on marble slabs: think artichokes, asparagus, and cherries in spring; tomatoes, eggplants, and figs in summer, alongside pots of tiny local mountain strawberries. It's also a great place to buy local dried porcini mushrooms. Best and busiest on Saturdays, the market takes place every day.
