Occupying a lovely old brick town house a five-minute walk from the center, everything abut this quiet retreat is a luxurious indulgence. Each of its six large rooms is individually themed and sumptuously furnished: the Experiment room, for example, is decked out with scientific objects. All rooms have large, comfortable beds and DVD players (pick something to watch from the house library), and all include a free minibar. Some bathrooms have a whirlpool bath. If you want to avail yourself of the bar downstairs, it operates on an honesty box system.
