What has long been the center of the city's cultural scene, putting on musical concerts and dance performances throughout the year, has now added another string to its bow: guided, one-hour Concertgebouw Circuit tours (€12). These offer the chance to go behind the scenes, visit the dressing rooms and the practice studio, and get a good grounding in the acoustics of architecture.
