The most consistently well-stocked store on the island carries known brands from the United Kingdom and North America, as well as a good selection of other international foods, plus prepared items such as rotisserie chicken and pizza. There's also an excellent selection of wine, beers, and spirits (no alcohol sales on Sundays). Expect higher prices than back home.

IGA's downtown location is another North American–style supermarket but offers more to locals at lower prices (the logo is $mart). You can cut your travel budget considerably by purchasing Essential Everyday brand items, and there are alcoholic beverages.
