Fodor's Expert Review The Somerset's Pavillion Restaurant and LunaSea
Located at the Somerset Resort, dining may be at one of several tables elegantly set overlooking a formal garden courtyard. Indoors, there is a different vibe altogether—cool and chic with high ceilings. It is one of Provo's few indoor, air-conditioned restaurants. The executive chef mixes international styles with a Caribbean, Asian, and European flair. Some of the standouts are their classic steak-and-lobster combination and the house-made angolotti pasta, which is stuffed with plantains and sweet potatoes and done in a curry coconut cream sauce. A must-try is their conch spring rolls, which took first place in the 2015 Conch Festival competition. End the meal with a salted caramel chocolate flan or their dessert pizza, prepared with Granny Smith apples and mascarpone with maple sugar icing drizzle. Ask for simpler off-the-menu options for the children. Brad, the chef, is also available for in-room chef service at the Somerset. If you’re looking for something a little more casual, try the Somerset's poolside dining at LunaSea for stunning views of Grace Bay .
