Located at the Sandy Point Marina, this café offers something for everyone, including cracked conch and fresh fish, as well as burgers and sandwiches. It's a great little place to grab a bite to eat before you head out to explore the islands or before catching the ferry back to Provo. There's no sign. Just head for the umbrella-covered tables and you'll see the takeout window where you place your order.

The Grill's setting, right on Grace Bay Beach, is simply lovely. Tables are set upon a wooden deck, with the menu more casual than that of Grace Bay Club’s Infiniti. Typical fare includes a small selection of sandwiches, pizzas, and entrées like jerk chicken or grilled snapper for lunch. Dinner includes salads, pizzas, and dishes with an Italian bent. Of course, you can try their version of conch salad if you want something a little more local. Tuesday is Caribbean Beach BBQ, complete with a welcome cocktail in a coconut and a vast menu of local specialties. The Grill is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (in season).

The casual yet gorgeous setting, with a patio and deck offering unobstructed views of Grace Bay, makes this one of the most popular dining venues on the island. At lunch, you can’t miss the conch, served however you prefer, but the mango shrimp salad is also excellent. Live music a couple of nights a week adds to the ambience.

This is a must-try, as it has delicious home-style island cooking. They have a wide array of local dishes and something for everyone. For around $10, you can order a full meal consisting of peas or okra and rice, a barbecue main, and another side. Located directly next to the Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex, this is also the only drive-thru restaurant in the country. So just look for the row of cars lined up on the side of a brown building.

One of the largest Margaritavilles in the world opens its doors when a cruise ship is parked at the dock. Tables are scattered around a large winding pool; there's even a DJ, a swim-up bar, and it's right next to the FlowRider (a wave pool where you can surf on land—for a fee). You can enjoy 52 flavors of margaritas or the restaurant's own beer, Landshark, while you eat casual bar food, including wings, quesadillas, burgers, and fish dishes. The food is decent, but the people-watching is great and there is always something fun to do.

With picture-postcard views of the intensely blue waters of Chalk Sound, the setting here is deliriously lovely. This is the only restaurant on Provo that offers an excellent authentic paella (if you order this, give it time—the flavors have to simmer). The menu also includes tapas, so you can enjoy a long lunch, indulging while you gaze at the gorgeous water. Dinner takes a little longer, as everything is made to order; you pick out your fish or meat, decide how you want it prepared, and choose a sauce for it. Try any one of their beef entrées, as they are all wonderful. If you want to experience the sound from the water, Las Brisas also has kayaks and paddleboards that you can rent to go around Chalk Sound.

Overlooking the serene waters of Bottle Creek, this little spot makes a great stop for day-trippers going to or from Middle Caicos, as well as for those enjoying the beauty of North Caicos for a day or longer. In addition to making smaller items such as conch fritters and burgers, owner Howard Gibbs provides full meals of fresh-caught grouper and local lobster at reasonable prices. Call ahead to find out what's being served that day. It's tiny—just five tables. Housed in an old stone-constructed home, you'll find true island ambience indoors or on the restaurant's large wooden terrace that offers spectacular views.

The hands-on owners ensure a terrific experience at this hilltop spot with great views of Turtle Cove Marina and the north shore. Expect well-prepared, uncomplicated dishes, such as cognac–garlic butter escargot and sesame-encrusted, rare-seared tuna. Another must-try is the housemade vodka sorbet that changes flavors depending on the chef's mood. The bar deck’s atmosphere is romantic, with only a few tables tucked off to the side.

Friday night's barbecue ribs are reason enough to stop by this small restaurant, serving traditional island fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sit inside the air-conditioned dining room for a welcome break from the heat, or grab a picnic table under the trees outside. If you need to check in to see what's happening in the world, they also offer free Wi-Fi.

Located in the lobby of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Noori is an unassuming lobby bar that gives good food and good vibes. Order the signature Lobby Burger or their delicious salmon tacos, but they truly shine when it comes to their sushi and raw bar options. Noori does not take reservations. The seating is limited, so on weekends we recommend stopping by there early to ensure you get a seat. Note: unlike many places on island the restaurant only accepts card payments. 

A beautifully landscaped patio makes a quiet, elegant setting, or you may choose to eat in the air-conditioned dining room. You will find a wide range of fish and meat on the menu. Try their lobster spring rolls with sweet chili dipping sauce or the spicy chili steak wraps with lemon hummus for a wonderful starter, followed by bone-in rib-eye with crumbled blue cheese. If you want fish, order one of the daily specials. You can be sure of enjoying live music with local artists during the week.

Dining at Parallel 23 is full of old-world charm. Tall French doors open onto the wide, elevated terrace overlooking a courtyard peppered with uplighted date palms, and a fountain adding a quiet tinkle in the background. The Caribbean fusion menu features a refreshing watermelon salad, as well as the Thai seared tuna. For dessert try the lemon meringue pie drizzled with raspberry sauce and topped with all sorts of goodies. This romantic spot is perfect for that extra-special evening, so dress up and enjoy!

Island native Patricia Ann Simmons can give you a lesson in the medicinal qualities of her garden plants and periwinkle flowers, as well as provide excellent native cuisine for a very reasonable price in her comforting Salt Cay home. Home cooking doesn't get any closer to home than this. Try her conch fritters, cracked conch, or chicken-and-chips for lunch and the steamed grouper or red snapper with peas and rice for dinner. As with most places in Salt Cay, you must place your order by 2 pm and tell them what time you want to eat dinner. Pat cooks only upon request with reservation. Beer and wine are offered with the evening meal, and payment is by cash only. Pat also has the Island Shop on Victoria Street, a small grocery selling staples.

Pat's Place serves your traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you're looking for fresh, home-cooked fish, this is the place to go. Pat's Place has a quaint setup on the back patio of her home, in the midst of a beautiful garden. It's definitely a stop you should make, but like other places on Salt Cay, please be sure to call ahead for dinner reservations.

There are days that you just don't want to dress up, and Pizza Pizza is an economical alternative to dining out and offers free delivery in the Grace Bay area with minimum purchase. 

This beach bar serves basic local fare perfectly cooked and is a great spot to grab a cold one in the middle of the afternoon or as the sun sets. Island favorites include grouper made in a variety of ways, and tangy homemade barbecue ribs cooked on an open charcoal flame. You will have to walk through the Cultural Center to get to the restaurant unless you come off the beach; you can do some light local shopping while you’re there. Here for New Year's? Ricky's hosts an annual party and has an optimal view of Grace Bay Beach, making it one of the most popular spots for watching all the firework displays. Plus, with a live band playing, its a great way to bring in a new year.

Located at Arches on the Ridge, this small cafe is definitely not a spot to miss on your trip to Grand Turk. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Ridge Cafe has a menu full of options that will delight. Their huevos rancheros have received rave reviews from visitors, as have their fish tacos. The menu tends to change, as grocery options on Grand Turk can fluctuate, but this does not stop the Ridge Cafe from serving a delicious meal. The cafe also bakes bread, bagels, and buns on a regular, so if you're craving some fresh bread during your stay, you can call in to make an order.

This is the casual counterpart to Fire & Ice, set off to the side from the resort at Blue Haven Marina, again with views of Leeward Channel and the magnificent yachts moored at the docks. It's very simple with a modern edge. You will find bar bites, salads, burgers and sandwiches, as well as meats and fish with a selection of sauces. 

This locally beloved open-air spot is tucked away amid tall tamarind and neem trees in a courtyard garden behind the historical Salt Raker Inn and serves simply prepared, local dishes such as grilled grouper and snapper, conch, and lobster. Be sure to try the grits if you’re around for breakfast. There's free Wi-Fi in the restaurant.

Elegant and beautiful, this swanky restaurant at Seven Stars Resort is one of only a few on the island with AC if you decide not to sit on the attractive outdoor patio. Begin your evening with a beverage on The Deck, and then move over to experience innovative, artfully prepared food. You may choose to start with the beef tenderloin done with a potato rissole and a Cabernet reduction, or the tiger shrimp beggar’s purse with its Asian influences. When in season, the lobster, among the best on the island, is served with a delicious rum-butter sauce. Seven also hosts a private mixology class on Tuesdays and Thursdays where their expert bartenders teach you how to make one of their most popular drinks, book in advance because spaces are limited.

At this casual local favorite, the standard fare includes everything from the local catch of the day, sandwiches, and island specialties to wings or nachos and beer along with other bar snacks. It's a casual place for lunch—the deck overlooks Turtle Cove Marina, where you may be lucky enough to see sharks passing by. Friday-night happy hour is very popular, but don’t take the table at the corner of the deck; several locals might get annoyed if you sit there. For dinner there is an excellent almond-crusted grouper. You can expect to have Lobster Night in season. Sit on the deck outside if you want to avoid the sports crowd enjoying the big-screen TVs that hang over the bar. They have a great souvenir T-shirt that you may want to purchase.

Stelle serves an eclectic cuisine with an Asian influence while incorporating island touches. Enjoy the elegant fine dining in a casual setting overlooking the infinity pool at the Wymara Resort.

Offering indoor and outdoor seating just steps away from the beach, The Terrace offers a solid mix of upscale dishes and options like nachos, fish tacos and cheeseburgers. This place is usually packed, especially when there's a big game playing on multiple TVs around the bar, and although reservations are not necessary they are certainly recommended. There's also a kids' menu that offers snapper as well as the usual chicken fingers and pasta. 

Order a coffee, tea, bagel, deli sandwich, salad, or dessert at this island institution (opened in 1992) on Leeward Highway, just south of Turtle Cove. There's also great pizza, which you can order by the slice or by the pie, and the deli case and market shelves offer all the foods—plus some beer and wine—you need for a fancy picnic. There are tables in air-conditioned comfort, as well as on a shaded patio outside. The location's not close to where most tourists stay, but it's worth the drive. 

Located at the over 180-year-old Turks Head Inne, this restaurant is filled with old-world charm; the rich wood accents have been maintained, as well as much of the architectural detailing, some of it borrowed from decommissioned ships. Meals are served on a covered patio or overlooking the ocean on an elevated terrace, and service is friendly yet efficient—not quite as laid-back as might be experienced in other venues. The chef uses his expertise in Asian cuisine to create a wonderful fusion of island delicacies, incorporating lots of fresh vegetables and seafood. 

Yoshi’s offers excellent sushi in an indoor, air-conditioned setting or open-air on a lovely streetside patio. Their menu includes a wide variety of sushi such as conch rolls, lobster rolls, and fresh game-fish sashimi, in addition to delicious specialties such as the Volcano, the Mexican, and the Caribbean. You will also find udon noodle soups, bento boxes, crispy fish salad, and chicken teriyaki.
