Statia's first high-end lodging—situated north of the Quill near the entrance to the botanical garden—has drool-worthy villas that you can rent in their entirety and a pair of modern one-bedroom apartments. The property is a good 15-minute drive from the airport and historic Oranjestad along a rocky track, but the water views and natural serenity make the trek worth it—especially if you really want to "get away."
