Fodor's Review

This brand new restaurant occupies the central former location of longtime St. Barth mainstay Le Sapotillier. The cuisine is French-Japanese fusion, a tasty combination, and the pretty room is decorated in natural woods, neutral linen, and good art. There are lots of sushi rolls and sashimi options, as well as interesting plays on ingredients from both France and Japan, like the wagyu beef gyoza (dumplings) with mushrooms, or toro tuna with Petrossian caviar fit for an oligarch. Main courses include duck confit and Kobe beef. Fusion desserts like green tea crème brûlée, and Japanese lemon tart offer a successful meal-ending treat.
