Fodor's Expert Review La Guérite
This stylish restaurant, a sister of a well-beloved Cannes hot spot, has taken the place formerly occupied by the Wall House restaurant at the far side of Gustavia Harbor. The room is beautiful, overlooking the yachts; the service helpful and friendly; and the food is fresh, tasty, healthy, and well prepared, with a touch of Greek influence. For starters, try flavorful grilled peppers or the restaurant's clever play on the local accras (codfish fritters) made here with zucchini. For mains, try excellent charcoal-roasted whole loup de mer or tender gnocchi. Desserts show the sophisticated influence of modernist cuisine.
