This classic island retreat delights young international guests who appreciate spiffy updates in spacious rooms and suites around a charming atrium garden. Some of the rooms and baths are done in sleek modern simplicity. Others retain the stone walls and artistic tile of the original decor. A couple have private terraces with Jacuzzis or private pools. All feature touches of the signature bright red. Rooms are set, terrace style, into a mountainside overlooking gorgeous Baie de Flamands, a long and fairly private beach. Depending on the room there can be a lot of steps to climb, but three units are handicap accessible and some can connect for families. A pool with lounge beds beside the beach is perfect for socializing, as are the attractive restaurants and bars. Conveniently located on-site are an outpost of Gustavia's Poupette boutique and a spiffy Technogym fitness center; spa treatments can be done in your room.
