Air Travel

Some international charter flights go directly to Varadero and Cayo Largo, mostly from Canada and Europe. From Havana, there are short-hop flights to Cayo Largo, Varadero, Isla de la Juventud, and Pinar del Río.

Pinar del Río's airport, Aeropuerto Álvaro Barba, is 2 km (1 mile) north of town. The airport serving Varadero—Aeropuerto Juan Gualberto Gómez—is 16 km (10 miles) west of the peninsula.
