Adjacent to the Hotel Sierra Maestra is the Cabaret Bayamo, where high-stepping, costumed dancers perform at dinner shows several evenings a week. Another cabaret is inside the hotel, but it isn't as highly charged as the Bayamo.

This is the best spot to hear live music. It's open nightly until about 2 am. Listen for el nengen or el kiribá, two styles of music that predate the Cuban son.

This disco has a dance floor that's open to the breezes and an outdoor terrace with ocean views; after the disco's flashing lights, the twinkling stars are soothing.
