Fodor's Expert Review Triple Crown Pub

$$ Cayman Islands British

Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.

This mate-y pub lures lonely London-to-Limerick lads and lasses with a lengthy list of draft beers and fittings and furnishings sourced throughout the United Kingdom. Popular British standbys include a beef-and-ale pie that should be packaged for supermarkets, as well as the odd fancy effort, such as homemade fish goujons (fried and breaded strips of fish) with curried mayo. Smoke-eating machines efficiently minimize haze; big-screen TVs blast major British and occasionally even U.S. sporting events (forget Manchester United, this is Arsenal territory). The bar menu is served until midnight. Prices are generally low—the Sunday all-you-can-eat carvery is only CI$16.25, and Thursday night steak dinners are CI$10–12. Entertainment encompasses raucous trivia and bingo competitions, karaoke, DJ Fridays, and occasional live bands.
