Neptune's Treasure
Basic waterfront rooms with simple furnishings and lovely views of the ocean are the hallmark of this family-owned guesthouse. Each of the nine attractively renovated rooms has air-conditioning, but if you open the windows you can fall asleep to the sound of waves lapping at the shoreline. If you're happy with a simple place to rest your head after swimming or kayaking in crystal clear waters, sunning at the round-the-island beach, enjoying fresh-from-the-sea dinners at the hotel's restaurant, and watching the sun go down from a seat at a tiki bar, this is the place. A private cottage with a kitchen that sleeps up to four can be had for about $100 more per night. If you must move out of the hammock, the hotel will organize an island tour or a fishing expedition.
