Casual clothing and swimsuits by big-name brands Roxy, Billabong, O'Neill, Reef, and Quicksilver are sold at this beachy shop for men, women, and children. There are plenty of shorts, T-shirts, and summer dresses to choose from, and surf and dive gear is a specialty. You can also take your pick from Maui Jim sunglasses, beach bags, hats, flip-flops, water shoes, and snorkeling gear. There's another store on Camber Road in Dockyard.
The island's largest grocery store and the chain's headquarters, MarketPlace offers homemade hot soups, stir-fries, salads, dinners, and desserts for about $8 a pound. It's the place locals go for a quick takeout lunch; many are drawn by the healthy-eating and organic sections.
A franchise of the large British chain, Marks and Sparks (as it's called by everyone in Bermuda and England) is usually filled with locals attracted by its moderate prices for men's, women's, and children's clothing. Summer wear, including swimsuits, cotton jerseys, and polo shirts, is a good buy—but don't forget everything is in U.K. sizes rather than U.S. The chain's signature line of food and treats, plus wine from all over the world, is tucked away at the back of the store.
Prices for this Italian designer's clothing average about 20% less in Bermuda than in the United States, although the accessories sell at much the same as U.S. prices. The boutique is much smaller than its counterpart on Madison Avenue, but it still has a good selection of conservative casual wear and evening attire. The store is easily accessible from Paraquet Apartments and other south shore hotels. It's also the nearest food stop to Elbow Beach.

It's also home to Artcetera, where you can buy paint, charcoal, pastels, sketching pads, canvases, and almost anything else an aspiring artist might need to capture Bermuda in color or black-and-white. The store is also an authorized FedEx shipping center.
With clothes for men and women, this long-running fashion brand brings the very latest in quality Italian-made casual, business, and dress wear, made of primarily natural fibers in neutral colors. The shop also stocks brands from its sister store Mambo, including True Religion.

Named after owner Darren Booth, this shop sells a good selection of trendy brands including Puma, G-Shock watches, and jackets by Helly Hansen and North Face. It also stocks Hershel backpacks. The sister shop, Heel Quik, on the corner of Queen and Church, has an excellent selection of luggage, in case you need an extra bag for your souvenirs.
