Fodor's Expert Review Casibari and Ayo Rock Formations

The odd-looking massive boulders at Ayo and Casibari are a mystery as they don't match the island's geological makeup in any other spot. They seem to have just cropped up out of nowhere, but they're cool to see and Casibari is fun to climb with man-made steps and handrails and tunnels set within the weird rock formation. Kids will love this all-natural jungle gym. You are not permitted to climb Ayo, but it's still worth a visit to see the ancient pictographs in a small cave (the entrance has iron bars to protect the drawings from vandalism).
