Home Valley Station
This working cattle station at the foot of the magnificent Cockburn Range around 120 km (75 miles) west of Kununurra is a must-stop on the iconic Gibb River Road. Owned and operated by the Traditional Owners of the land, the Balanggarra people, it has everything from campsites and safari tents to hotel rooms inspired by stockmen's quarters and riverside suites. You can join hiking, fishing, and sunset tours and learn about its Indigenous history and pastoral life on a station tour. Its rustic on-site restaurant Dusty's Bar and Grill has strong Outback pub vibes, with live music and a campfire adding to the ambience.
