Tanks Arts Centre
This vibrant arts center in the lush Cairns Botanic Gardens precinct is housed in a trio of World War II oil storage tanks that have been creatively transformed into the multiuse venue, 4 km (2 miles) north of the Cairns city center. The center has become a vital creative hub for the region, offering an impressive visual arts and performance program, markets, workshops, and community events.
