Nami Island

Nami Island is a pleasant botanical garden in the middle of a river in the mountainous country of Gapyeong to the east of Seoul. Trails criss-cross the island, making for enjoyable walks beneath the forest's many pine and fir trees. It's especially beautiful in autumn, when the island's gingko trees turn golden. Its sheer natural beauty has made it a popular filming site for K-dramas, so it's no wonder day trippers have begun to catch on to its myriad charms.
