Ostello Bello Bagan
This is a fairly good option for New Bagan (where accommodations are priciest and book up quickly), with sun-filled twin, double, and triple rooms that are more like guesthouse rooms than those of your typical hostel. There are also dorms (mixed and single sex, four- and eight-bed). Rooms have simply, sturdy wooden furniture, comfortable beds, hardwood floors, and tidy bathrooms. Staff are friendly, as are the other guests, making this a smart choice for a solo traveler.
