Found ira's gelato in Watkinsville, GA
For those of you who asked in earlier threads...
I found Il Gelato that ira posted about a year of so ago. Very yummy. I asked for a mix of chocolate and coconut. Great combo!
Who knew? Gelato in Watkinsville of all places!

Well, if she realizes I stopped for gelato, she just may! But, I only had 1 scoop. Surely that should count for something!
I've very glad you decided to post it! It put a smile on my face!

I knew someone who won a songwriting contest in Athens. The title had to be "I Can Almost See Bogart From Here". For a couple of weeks, it was the #1 requested song on the country radio station!
They are adding a store at the mall, atlswan. Bogart could be next!

OWJ, we ought to go to the Madison Tour of Homes in Dec. and do a gelato run to Watkinsville (just up the road).
Maybe others from the GTG would want to come and we can do an action version of a GTG.
ira DID invite us for tea on his porch if we were in the area!
Blue Willow is just down the road in Social Circle too. Fried green tomatoes - yum!

Starrs--I think I've been in the house with the piano...my friend's engagement party was at a gorgeous historic home in Madison, think she said he was the mayor or former mayor--anyway, the room with the piano looks like the same house! How weird is that??
Thanks for the New Year's wishes. I do hate using personal days but what choice do I have If I didn't have to use my own days, I'd have another 20 days of sick leave built up (2 holidays/yr x10yrs) which would be really handy if I ever need maternity leave!
