Ziplining in Maui

This August I am traveling to Hawaii with a party of 6 (including myself) and we are planning on going ziplining while in Maui. We're just curious if anyone has any info about zipline tours in Maui such as what company to use and how the overall experience of the tour was. We would highly appreciate all feedback.

I've not tried it yet, but Kapalua resort in West Maui has recently opened a nice new adventure center with ziplining. I'd definitely consider them as they claim to have one of the largest series of ziplines in NA with nearly 2 miles of line. http://www.kapalua.com/adventures/on...ost/zip-lines/

I read that zipline tours fill up far in advance. About how much time in advance should I book a zipline tour in Maui?

You might want to read this before considering ziplining. Obviously, it didn't happen in Maui, but it gives you an idea of what can happen:

We just got back from Maui a couple of days ago and we did the Piiholo Ranch ziplining, supposed to be HI's longest. It was awesome. What we did was to go through Wyndam's timeshare presentation, of course we didn't buy, but we got $100 and used that to pay towards the ziplining. We booked 3 days in advance, not sure how fast they book up. You must also take the road to Hana while you're in Maui, it's awesome!

Please see my recent trip report for info our ziplining experience. It was fabulous! We did the Ka'anapali lines in Maui with Eco Adventures. I HIGHLY recommend it. The guys were great and it was a lot of fun. Lunch was even good! I think you need to book about a month in advance - I tried to change our date at one point and couldn't because everything was booked.
