ZION NP LODGING

Have read good things about both Flannigan's and the Desert Pearl Inn. Any comments on which would be better? Or should I just try for lodging in the park?

We were in Zion and Bryce a couple of weeks ago. Stayed three nights in Zion. Only able to get one night at Zion Lodge - stayed in a cabin there and really enjoyed it. Spent one night at Flannigan's. Room was nice, location is good. They have a decent restaurant.
Another good restaurant is Zion Pizza and Noodle Factory. Have heard good things about Desert Pearl Inn, but haven't stayed there. We spent our third night (on the way home) at Bumbleberry Inn. Didn't like this place nearly as well as Flannigan's. If you can get into Zion Lodge, I would say definitely stay there. Otherwise, Flannigan's is a good second choice. Zion is a beautiful place.

Loved the Pearl Inn. It is stylish, spacious, comfortable, and convenient to the free park shuttle buses -- and it has great views.

We loved Zion!! I don't remember where we stayed, I just remember how much we loved the stone mountains. We took a trail horseback ride and would recommend it! Beautiful scenery!

God, this is wierd - when I read this header, I immediately thought of the Zion, IL nuclear power plant (NP) and thought, why would anyone want to stay near there????? Time to take a nap.
