Yosemite Waterfalls Sept 2012 Questions
We were in Yosemite May 2010 and waterfalls were roaring. I am considering going there for a long weekend trip with a friend of mine in the 2nd week of Sept. It would be his first visit. I am wondering with this years runoff if waterfalls would be decent at that time for this year? We are also considering hiking and staying at Glen Aulin for one of those night. We would probably stay in Curry Village Tent cabin 2 nights and 1 night in Glen Aulin. We would have 3 full days there. So we would probably hike Panorama Trail from Glacier Point to the Valley one day and see Valley sights, hike Glen Aulin one day, see Maripossa Grove one day. Would probably have Sunday Brunch at Awahnee.

Judging from the amount of water and snow we saw two weeks ago in the high country on Tioga Pass, I would say the falls will not disappoint you. Tuolumne Meadows was almost covered in water when we were there. Up to 5 feet of snow just off the road.
