Yosemite or Grand Canyon?

Although I *love* Yosemite (as I said earlier, I grew up near there), given the rest of your schedule, I would choose the Grand Canyon. It's really different than the other places you're visiting.

We're doing both next month... will report back how it was.. I couldn't find any lodges IN the canyon for next month.. they were all booked, but DH did not want to anyways, he said the Thunderbird Lodge where he stayed last year was crap.. and he rather stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Flagstaff... that's his thing.. lol..

In May the possibility of the falls being in full hie is good and would be truly wonderful. It is an absolutely magical place.
I don't agree that you have time to hike or raft the Grand Canyon to enjoy it. It is just "different" if you don't.
I think for the short time available, the GC would be an easier trip, although you woul have to kill me to get me to Las Vegas.
