So was I for San Diego. I was just on my way to B&N to buy the 2009 DC guidebook. Guess I will just have to wait for the free one now!!!

I was quite surprised to find out I was quoted on O'ahu. I didn't occur to me to ask Katie what the quote is. Guess I'll just wait til I get my copy of the book.

I was surprised and excited when I got the email from katie. I went ahead and ordered my complimentary copy of Kauai 2nd edition. I was quoted three times! What a cool memento to have of my favorite place on earth.

I was quoted for the Chicago 2009 guide. Katie replied to my reply, but didn't tell me my quote..I like anticipation anyway, so I'll find out when I get my guide in the mail!

I was quoted as well (Washington, D.C. 2009)...I couldn't wait to get it in the mail (actually, it was just delivered a few minutes ago) and was the crazy person at the bookstore looking for my quote!

I was quoted in the Peru guide and Katie got back to me really quickly telling me what the quote was. I was so excited! It's so cool for those of us who were quoted, but also for the guides because it adds a perspective from regular travelers who have visited the place. I love the Fodor's forums!

Katie is one of the editors. She is the one who sent me my email. Just reply to ther email and ask her what your quote is. She got back to me in a couple days.

Katie is the manager of these forums. When you respond to her email requesting which guidebook you want, ask her how you were quoted and she'll probably get back to you pretty quickly.
My quote was from the trip report I posted on the Latin America board about our Peru vacation.

That should have said Katie is one of the EDITORS.

Well I was not quoted but I was one of the photo winners, so my winning photo is in the 2009 Alaska book. Also in the back my name under the credits. My children said to be sure and not throw it away. Never entered before, and was so thrilled that the photo is in the book. I have showed everyone.

I got one in the American Southwest guide - how wonderful! My book arrived a couple of days ago and as soon as I catch up after Christmas I shall be sitting down and having a really good read. Thank you Fodors - i really feel part of it all now.

I was quoated in the Japan book and I as sent a copy of any guide I wanted- I got a Mexico fodors book.
