Wynn Las Vegas
Help! I'm thinking about a Vegas jaunt this summer for my husband's birthday. We've stayed at Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Ritz Lake Las Vegas, and the Four Seasons (a couple times).
For the strip, the Four Seasons is by far our favorite. It's elegant, quiet, top notch... Our next favorite would be Bellagio.
But we're seriously thinking about trying the Wynn this time. Does anyone have any recent feedback to share? It looks like the rate would be $300/night for a resort room.
Thanks in advance.

HI..
Have stayed at the Wynn 3 times and I must say it is stunning! As far as $300 a night in summer seems high for a resort room..did you direct or to Expedia or other travel websites?
New in Vegas is always good..
The rooms are gorgeous and the beds, linens and lots of feather pillows.
The restaurants are outstanding and the pool is heaven.
I think your husband would be very happy staying here for his birthday!
Have fun..

I tried Expedia and direct. The Bellagio is slightly cheaper for that week, and much cheaper a week before (but then we wouldn't be there for my husband's b-day).
Did you like the Wynn much better than Bellagio? I stayed there once (6+ years ago) and loved it, but it would be cool to try something new...

HI..
I have stayed at both and love them both but the Wynn is new and gorgeous..
Summer usually is cheaper but with Vegas, you never know.. I do know that the Wynn is having trouble keeping it full so maybe in the next month keep an eye on it and see if it comes down in price..last summer, I payed $159 a night for a resort room with the golf course view..Daniel Boulud's restaurant is outstanding and the Sushi bar is yummy too..
I booked on Expedia but have also been checking on wynnlasvegas.com
Can't wait to go back!

I constantly get emails with new rate discounts for Wynn, so keep checking or at least sign up your email and join their club. Stayed there last year and enjoyed the room - I agree with whoever said newer is sometimes better. The air alone is better, because the smoke has infiltrated the walls and carpeting yet.
The pool is pretty cool, actually had decent shade spots. I can't stand pools without enough shade. Not everyone wants to tan their way to a cancer death and I hate having to haggle over an umbrella.
Point to note on the pool: there is an "adult" only area where topless is allowed. Keep hubby on a short leash there.
Just kidding!
