Wilma and i are thinking of staying at this property for 16 nights in April 2003 ( a long stay,but we are coming a long way )
can anyone give us any info on this resort?
we have been offered a good rate for concierge level, is it any good?
anything would be very helpful.

Being that I live in Orlando, I have never stayed there, but I have always heard good things about it and their public areas look very nice. A friend of mine stayed there last June for $75 per night on some kind of timeshare deal, and some people snag it on Priceline for about $80 per night.

Have you considered renting a house for that amount of time, or are you set on staying at a hotel?

I visited the Wyndham palace last summer and found that it was quite nice. Great public areas, rooms are nicely appointed, and a good location across the street from downtown disney. Only disappointment was the service, which was lax and slow.

You might want to think about breaking up the trip and driving an hour east or west and hitting one of Florida's great beaches for a week.

Great Location for nighttime activities: shopping, dinner, dinner-theatre, and nightclubs. You'd have to take the bus to parks. Nice hotel with a nice spa.
I think Concierge Level is great IF you get a good rate, and they include breakfast and late afternoon snacks.
