Hello, I have stayed at the Reach and the Casa marina and they were lovely. We will be staying at the Casa Marina again in February so if you are going in Sept. and find out it has gone down in quality please respond when you get back.
The Better Business Bureau has had complaints with both places. The Reach is in a better location than the Casa but both are not that wonderful. I have stayed at both for business and found them adequate.
Key West is better known for its b&bs and not so much for its "resorts" (if you can call them that). I would recommend a b&b over any hotel. The Dewey House was very nice.
Remember! In Key West you get what you pay for. Look at a B&B or one of the smaller hotels. The larger monstrosities are a huge waste of time and money.
BnBs can be quite restrictive. They often love to tell you where, when and how.
Do a search, on this web site, on the Wyndham Key West properties. Read the first-hand reports. You'll find out they're a bit nicer than some would have you believe.
