Wyndam Hotels in Key West

We are going to Key West in September and wanted to know if anyone would recommend
Wyndam Casa Marina or Wyndam Reach Resort.

How are the resorts?
I appreciate any feedback.

Do a search on those subjects on this site. There's been some stuff recently.

There is nothing wrong with either property, enjoy your vacation and the beach.

Nothing wrong at all if you like plywood furniture, poor service and kiddie playland.

Hello, I have stayed at the Reach and the Casa marina and they were lovely.
We will be staying at the Casa Marina again in February so if you are going in Sept. and find out it has gone down in quality please respond when you get back.

The Better Business Bureau has had complaints with both places. The Reach is in a better location than the Casa but both are not that wonderful. I have stayed at both for business and found them adequate.

Key West is better known for its b&bs and not so much for its "resorts" (if you can call them that). I would recommend a b&b over any hotel. The Dewey House was very nice.

We stayed at the Reach in June and had a great time. I thought it was a beautiful resort. We did not eat at the restaurants however.

Thanks to all who replied! I guess the Reach is where we will stay because of the proximity to "things to do."

I'll report when we return!

The Reach is not that close to much. It is a block away from the main drag and several blocks to the center of things. Look for something closer.

Remember! In Key West you get what you pay for. Look at a B&B or one of the smaller hotels. The larger monstrosities are a huge waste of time and money.

BnBs can be quite restrictive. They often love to tell you where, when and how.

Do a search, on this web site, on the Wyndham Key West properties. Read the first-hand reports. You'll find out they're a bit nicer than some would have you believe.

I looked and cannot find anything recent on either. I did see some glowing reports on B&B's and Guest Houses there.

The Conch House is really cute. It has very nice rooms, close to everything, nice pool area, good breakfast and wonderful innkeepers.

Instead of telling the OP to do a search, why don't you just give her some informations. Idiots.

Both properties are fine. Not fantastic and not dumps. Both are at the opposite end of Duval from Mallory Sqare, long walk but it can be done.
