world trade center site

Hello again!
I was wondering the best view of the world trade center site. Winter Gardens? Does it cost? Thanks for your help!

The site is now a construction site. The best place to go is the Tribute center and St. Paul's.

The best place to view the World Trade Center is from the Winter Garden at the World Financial Center. The Tribute Center charges admission and doesn't have any view of the site and from St. Paul's you will pretty much only see the entrance to the PATH station.

If you take the walking tour with the Tribute Center ($10), you are taken around the site and get to see different views. The tours run every couple of hours and seem to book pretty fast. The tour guides are survivors or family members. It's can be pretty emotional, so you have to decide if you are ready for it. I highly recommend it.

If all you want to do is see the site, then go to the Winter Garden in the World Financial Center. Walk up the marble staircase and look for free. There is information about the site and the rebuilding at the bottom of the stairs and to the left (behind the staircase).
The Tribute Center is worth it if you want to hear firsthand accounts and enter the site.
Near St. Paul's you will see the PATH station, not much of the site, and people trying to sell you tacky tourist stuff.
