Planning a golf/biking road trip through Wisconsin and Michigan first week of June. Playing Brown Deer Golf course near Milwaukee...….Nice course??
Then Heading north from Milwaukee to Painted Rock National Park. Is Munising the best place to stay if going there? Go on ferry boat ride at Painted Rock.
We are then heading to Mackinac Island. Is the JEWEL golf course worth playing? We are biking at Mackinac also. Thinking of staying at Harbour Inn. Any other suggestions?
Then heading south to Traverse City and Charlevoix . Planning on staying a night or two in Holland or Saugatuck area. Biking and playing golf at Ravines Golf Course.

I know nothing of playing golf but wonder if you are driving your own big vehicle or are renting something large to transport your clubs and a bicycle(s)? Where are you coming from? Sounds like a great trip if it doesn't rain much. I hope the golfers here can help with logistics.

It's Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, and I recommend the sunset cruise since if sunny the rocks which face NW will be lit. Rocks are in shade the rest of the day. The Holiday Inn Express has fantastic views, just north of Munising, I remember all rooms as having a view.

Will list non-golf sites if interested, otherwise won't bother.
