Wisconsin 6 days in July
Hi, we are headed to my alma mater, UW Madison for a few days in early July and want to spend another three or so days out of Madison, in wonderful Wisconsin, ideally 2 hours from Madison.
So many possibilities, ideally on a lake. Something charming.

The Door Penisula is about 3.5 hours away. It has lots of outdoor recreational opportunities including water sports, hiking and cycling. There are quaint towns such as Ephraim which has Eagle Harbor and Norwegian white-washed buildings.
