Need help on deciding between Best Western on E Colonial (read lots of restaurant within walking distance) or La Quinta on Lee Rd. Looking for little road noise, moderate priced restaurants near by. La Quinta was about $12 cheaper. Thanks

I drive home down lee road everynight around midnight......avoid this area if possible. east colonial area is a bit better.....although i don't know about the "resturants within walking distance" thing. (is 1/2 mile considered walking distance?). both motels are located on heavily traveled roadways....bring your ear-plugs!!

Neither of these places are very desirable. Lee road area is a pit (unless you like hookers and drug dealers). Of the two East colonial is probably better.

What are you really looking for as far as pricing? I could suggest, but not sure what your range is. Lee Rd. is a very busy area, but if that is your price range that is what you would need to book. There are many hotels in Maitland/North Orlando and that is minutes away from Lee Road. I believe it is safer, nicer and good restaurants around. There is also a great b&b but I am not allowed to say the name gt;) !
