Wine Country Trip

Does anyone have a recommendation for a moderately-priced inn ($300/night) in Sonoma/Napa area? We're flying in next Thurs., 4/17, and want to stay 3 nights.

I like Four Sisters Inns.

They have several locations. I am most fond of Lavender becasue it has huge rooms with patio..but others like Maison Fleuri or Inn at Sonoma or Healdsburg Inn
Check last minute specials and ask for a frquesnt stay card...

Thank you 1JAR! I have visited the Blue Lantern Inn in Dana Point and had enjoyed my visit. I did check into the Northern CA Four Sisters Inns and learned that they have no vacancies.

Try www.sonomacountyvacations.com and see what vacation rentals they have for the dates you want. They are in Healdsburg area. You can also try the Madrona Manor, and several B&B's in the area.

Some friends recently stayed at Wine Country Inn in St. Helena and loved it. They have a number of rooms under $300 ($215 and up). The inn has a lovely view over the vineyards.

It is not in town but between St. Helena and Calistoga.

The Sonoma Mission Inn is very nice, we stayed 2 nights last month, this was our 4th stay at this property, very fun!

In Yountville, we loved our time at the Villagio Inn & Spa, in Healdsburg the Hotel Healdsburg is a gorgeous property in a great location, don't miss Cyrus for dinner, we dined there last month for the second time and it's better than ever.

Enjoy your time in the wine country! ***kim***

Hi momofrenee-
the post that advises you on the Sonoma Mission Inn, Villagio & Hotel Healdburg is truly misleading for you. There are no rooms going for $300.00 a night for your dates, especially including the weekends, at any of those places. (Unless you have a promo or discount code-which I didn't see any posted here)
I wonder why anyone would post such deceptive information ?

At this late date I would certainly look in to Austin's and elnap's
ideas. You could also try the Hilton or Vineyard Creek Inn in Santa Rosa or the Lodge at Sonoma in Sonoma town. They should have some nice rooms in your price range.

You could also check out the lodging listings at wineroad.com
for places in the Healdsburg area.

Good Luck !

I have heard good things about sping hill cabin, but be aware it is quite a distance from Sonoma and Napa Valley. Check the map before you decide on lodging to see if it is well-located for what you want to see and do.
