Which one would you choose?

4 days in Montreal, Canada or Las Vegas in October.
I have been presented with this choice and who would I ask to help me with this decision, but my friends at Fodors.
So?

All other things being equal (price, etc.) I vote for LV.

Need to know:
1) budget
2) where you'd be staying
3) what you like to do on vacation
4) approx age
5) how much you've travelled
6) have you been to either before
7) where you live
for starters.

Example: if you live in Buffalo, are 75 years old, have been to Montreal 5 times and you hate the cold, I'm voting LV.
If you're from Southern California, have been to LV, never to Canada and you hate smoke and strip mall towns, I'm voting Montreal.

How about a few clues.
Can't read minds.

Sorry- not forcing you to be a mind reader
The choice would be which one would YOU make?
I have been to both many times.
The budget is nice.
We travel quite often.
I like both places.
Just can't make any decisions these days..need help! THanks

Hate to gamble, find it depressing to watch other people gamble, not very interested in overblown, overhyped nightclub shows. Guess which one I'd choose? (Since you asked...)

This is excellent, thank you very much
I agree about Montreal, French flavor is good, food is good, shopping, museums, lots to do.
But then LV is fantasy land, stay at the Bellagio, eat in some good restaurants, see a couple of shows, maybe a spa. See what I mean? Both have appeal.
If anyone has any other ideas, feel free. "As long as I'm asking"

My opinion is, if you've been to both lots of times, go somewhere else, a place you've never been before!

Susan,
that wasn't in the choice
If there were other choices, I might not have asked. This is it-Las Vegas or Montreal.
Thanks for the ideas, I appreciate your thoughts.

Well, I've been to both also & since it's October, I would choose Montreal, nothing beats a crisp autumn day in the East! Have fun which everyway you go.
