Which one of these Princeville Condos?

And why or why not?

Bali Hai on Pepelani Loop

Ka Eo Kai on Wyllie Road

Makai Club Cottages on Lei O Papa Rd

These are all timeshares that I can exchange into for the timeframe we are travelling. None are on the ocean, none have a/c, but all are in Princeville. I'm guessing from what I have read that Bali Hai is the nicest.

What say ye, experts?>

I can see it now. Dinner in Hanalei every night followed by a romantic walk along Hanalei Bay, holding hands, with perhaps a little smooch at the end of the pier. Yeeehawww is right! >

There really is no dining in the northshore. It is very dark.

Oh, and the twisty turny 5 minute drive down to Hanalei will cause car sickness and road rage at the one lane bridge.

Oh, I think she is quite aware of the roosters, as they are very abundant on the brighter, friendlier, sunnier tourist friendly areas of the isle. Why anyone would choose the rainny side of the hellhole is beyond me???

Maui mo bettah!

Yes there are! They are a bit snootier than the Hanalei variety. I once saw one wearing a tiara, Hermes scarf, and holding a little Gucci bag under its wing.

Some of them think they lay golden eggs and don't even try to tell them they're just ordinary brown eggs.

Bring plenty of canned tuna and powdered milk, because the only thing they sell at the grocer is spam.

Children!! Behave yourselves -- Auntie's here!!

iceeu2:
Of the 3 you've listed, Bali Hai is the newest. Amenities will be the best of the 3. And you can walk to our house for a visit!

Makai Club is the oldest...long overdue for an upgrade.

Ka Eo Kai is on the main road here in Princeville, so can get noisy. But on the flip side, you'd have an easy stroll down the side street to the new Westin Resort for dining 'n drinking.

Okay...what dates will you be here?

About Princeville chickens...

The ones who live in our immediate neighborhood are respectful...no crowing between nightfall and dawn. ~gt;

Not sure if that behavior is in effect at Pahio Bali Hai, however!

See there, iamq and gyppielou....I guess Auntie told y'all! Plus, did you see where she invited me to her house?????????????????nani nani boo boo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We won't be there until May. Thinking of going to the Poipu area for the 2nd week. Looking for a deal at the Marriott Waiohai. From what I am reading, I think I am going to try and wait until the last minute to get a place for the 2nd week and see if I can low ball some places. I had a difficult time talking the real icee into coming north, so I have a feeling he might hold my feet to the fire for a week around Kapaa. Regarding him and the northshore. He's afraid of RAIN!!!!!!! He thinks he's so sweet, he might melt! Trust me, he will probably float instead!

I think the real icee has the right idea. He is correct to be afraid of rain. It rains on the north shore all the time. Who in their right mind would willingly go to the north shore? quot;>

Yeah, right...and even crazier are the folks who buy a house and actually LIVE on that rotten, rainy, chicken- and mosquito-infested north shore!

Ooops...just ID'd my own self! 8-)

P.S. to those who may be new to this forum and think we're serious when we jest like this. Not true -- many of us are friends offline, too...and very much enjoy poking fun at each other. We all love Kaua`i!
